LABOUR POLITICAL THOUGHT
These articles of materialist intellectual history deal with the political thought of the labour movement in its formative period. They stress the important role of socialist and democratic ideas in the movement, especially how the meaning of democracy shifted according to the setting favoured by its proponents – the movement, the party, or the workplace.
